Alameda County Court Watch

The superior court of Alameda County, California, doesn't make following its proceedings easy. Their public portal is difficult to use, requires registration, and charges unreasonably high fees to view most court documents. In the public interest, Alameda County Court Watch keeps track of civil cases filed in Alameda County Superior Court and provides free access to this information through two convenient channels:

• A Google Drive folder, where PDFs of civil filings from May 2022 to the present are publicly accessible and searchable
• A Google spreadsheet, where the most complete information on each case is managed

Prior to March 2026, Alameda County Court Watch maintained a Twitter account (@AlCoCourtWatch) that posted information about new cases. However, efforts to monetize X's API now prevent automated public service accounts from operating for free. The account's page is maintained for archival purposes.

Criminal cases are not tracked by Alameda County Court Watch.
