UC Berkeley’s University Health Services, or UHS, will provide flu vaccines and COVID-19 booster shots equipped against the highly infectious omicron variant to campus students at clinics Sept. 27, 28 and 30.

The vaccines will be free for all campus students regardless of insurance, according to an update posted to UHS’ website. UHS-provided flu vaccines ordinarily cost $40 for students who are not enrolled in campus’s Student Health Insurance Plan, the website notes.

The clinics, which are provided in partnership with the city of Berkeley, will be hosted at the Tang Center from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 to 4 p.m., the update added. Appointments and drop-in clinics for flu shots will also be hosted throughout the semester, but will be subject to ordinary pricing, according to the website.
